The Bedrooms
Château la Courdie offers four recently renovated double bedrooms, each with its own private ensuite bathroom, making it perfect for families or friends seeking both comfort and privacy Exposed wooden beams and natural stone walls give each room a warm, authentic French character. One of the bedrooms also has a traditional writing desk in the room so you can work in all privacy and calmth
One bedrooms is located on the ground floor, ideal for guests who prefer to avoid stairs making it easily accessible for guests with limited mobility.
The other 3 bedrooms are on the first floor and offer lovely views over the garden. This thoughtful setup makes the house perfect for groups up to 8 guests.
Set within two hectares of private land, the outdoor areas of La Courdie display elegance beauty of the Dordogne.
In the courtyard, the shared swimming pool sits between the two houses, bordered by a stone terrace. The covered dining outdoor area includes a round wooden dining table that fits 8 guests for meals in the open air.
The private side of the rental house also has a grassy terrace to enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.
An old charming stone pigeonnier, once home to doves, adds character and a touch of local heritage to the estate.
Together, the gardens and terraces create an authentic setting that reflects the charm of life in rural France.

The Bathrooms
All bedrooms at La Courdie have their own ensuite bathroom, each with its own warm and inviting atmosphere.
The mix of exposed stone walls, wooden beams, and soft natural tones give every space a true sense of French countryside charm. The bathrooms feel homely due to subtle details such as woven baskets and flowers to complete the calm and natural look that runs throughout the house.
Two of the bathrooms – one downstairs and one upstairs – also feature a bathtub, ideal for a relaxing end of the day.
Towels are provided for all guests at the start of the stay and each bathroom is maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness, ensuring a comfortable stay.
Location
Sainte Alvere
Ideally located between Sainte-Alvère, Le Bugue. Limieul, Paumat Tremolat and Journiac. This unique position offers the best of both worlds: the tranquillity of the countryside, and easy access to village life. Within minutes, you can explore lively weekly markets, pick up fresh bread from artisan bakeries, sip coffee on a sunny terrace, or join in on local festivals.

Inside, you’ll find an open spacious kitchen with a central island and a large wooden dinnertable that comfortably seats up to ten guests, perfect for shared meals and lively gatherings.
Next to the kitchen area you will find a large living room with a fireplace, ideal for cosy evenings.
For those who wish to work in peace, a classic writing desk is available in the living room and in one of the bedrooms. There are multiple air conditioning units and fast fibre-optic internet.
